Deal Administrator

AutoIQ network of dealerships operates 14 New Vehicle dealerships of various brands throughout Central & Southern Ontario and is currently recruiting an experienced Deal Administrator for Kitchener Ford, one of Ontario’s top performing Ford dealerships. The best candidates will understand that the efficiency of our accounting department is paramount to our success and will work hard to ensure that deal capping and administration flows with consistent timeliness, accuracy and efficiency.

 What you bring to the role:

  • Previous experience capping deals in an automotive environment preferred

  • Impeccable attention to detail and accuracy under strict deadlines
  • Process driven with impeccable organization and prioritization abilities
  • High energy and strong initiative required to excel in this deadline oriented, high volume environment

Key responsibilities and metrics include:

  • Prepare and process paperwork for sold vehicles
  • Record Sale/Cost of Inventory
  • Record Finance and Insurance income
  • Verify sales documentation in file is complete
  • Commission New and Used Vehicle Deals
  • Process Wholesale files
  • Prepare recaps and commission slips
  • Record and post funding from Financial Institutions
  • Code General Purchase Invoices and submit to Accounts Payable
  • Post Weekly Vincent Payments
  • Monitor claims weekly to collect outstanding program monies
  • Maintain accurate and clean deal related schedules
  • Post Monthly “Holdback” Payment
  • Record Sales Commissions and submit to Payroll Administrator
  • Record Accessory Spiff commissions bi-weekly
  • Reconcile and submit all insurance payments from F&I Sales
  • Ability to deal with confidential information with a high degree of diplomacy

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma minimum, preferred Post-Secondary education
  • Experience in the automotive industry or related work environment is considered an asset
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Excellent attention to detail and good organizational skills
  • Using sound judgement and problem solving with consistent integrity
